Letter to Parents:

Salam Alaykum,

It is my pleasure to be your child's Qur’anic Arabic teacher this school year. My name is Batoul Qaweqji, this is my Sixth year teaching at Crescent Academy with many previous years of teaching experience. I have an Ijaza in Quran memorization, an ijaza in the nooraniah method, an Islamic Studies diploma and a montessori degree. I have found the same values in the Montessori program used in the Tarbiyah Project at Crescent Academy. Those same values are also found in the Qur’an and Sunnah. The Qur’anic Arabic Team and I plan to use these Montessori techniques while teaching Qur’an and Arabic to the students. This will help the students understand and love the Qur’an and Arabic even more because of the activities and methods used.

Our goal for the students is to see them on the road of transformation to knowing the deeper meanings of the Qur’an through understanding Arabic. As the students put into practice the knowledge they develop throughout their learning experiences, they will honor Allah and Allah will honor them. Insha’Allah.

In order for the student to be most successful, it is important for the home, school and student team work together to meet the demands of the Quranic/Arabic program.  May Allah accept your child’s sincere desire for memorizing the Qur’an. I believe that if we work together both on the school front and at home Allah will reward your child with success, insha’Allah. To contact me you can email me at bmasfaka@crescentacademy.org and my website is: www.srbatoulqa.weebly.com.

Jazakullahu khairan Wa Salamu Alaykum.
